Youth Christmas Party

ay16 A couple of months ago, a member of our youth group put forward an idea that each member of the youth would have an 'adopted' family. A family who will pray for them, encourage them and grow with them (as their own families do). Our church really took hold of this idea and within about 30 minutes, each member of the youth had an 'adopted' family.

Tonight, we have had a wonderful time with them. Our evening started off by being given four cocktail sticks. We were then asked to mingle and ask people questions, the only restriction being that if you answered a question with either a yes or a no, that you had to give one of your cocktail sticks to the person that made you say the forbidden words. This caused much fun, and for the somewhat competitive ones amongst us, it got us in the zone. This was followed by some team games and some nibbles.

Fun, food and fellowship ... a fabulous family festivity.
