Pearl, a member of the PCF congregation, invited the youth to a meal at The Feathers. At 12 o’clock we all arrived, there was approximately 18 people altogether that turned up!
We settled into our seats and were infested with cameras! I swear there were at least 5! And everyone was snapping shots of each other, I disguised my face with a napkin, clever thinking! Then put my flexible ‘slappy’ watch around my neck so I looked like a vicar, Rev. Emily Grace Heaton to you!
The main course was really yummy! I had chicken, chips and salad - which was a rather big portion I had to admit. Then pudding came round, I got Bonofffe Bonanza that no one else ordered but me, it was the biggest one there! With banana slices smothered in toffee, thick creamy caramel ice-cream with a smooth chocolate flake! (Which I used as a cigar).
I had time to chat to my friends and have a great laugh with them, it was hilarious, and it was amazing! I couldn’t have had a better day out!
Thank you so MUCH Pearl for a lovely day out, this wouldn’t have happened without you! We all love you and think you’re an amazing person!
