What we believe

  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
  • We believe in the unity of the One True and Living God.
  • We believe in the Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Miraculous Ministry, Substitutionary Atoning Death and Bodily Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the fall of man, who was created pure and upright, but fell by voluntary transgression.
  • We believe in salvation through faith in Christ alone, and that through His Blood we have Redemption.
  • We believe that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by immersion in water.
  • We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as the empowering of the believer for service.
  • We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of Christ in the Church today.
  • We believe in holiness of life and conduct in obedience to the command of God.
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the everlasting conscious bliss of all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting conscious punishment of all whose names are not written in the Book of Life.

Why we do what we do

  • We aim to do everything to praise and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ because of the love He has put into our lives through faith in Him for forgiveness of sin.
  • We encourage lively, joyful and exuberant praise and worship in services as a means of expressing our love for God.
  • We encourage fellowship, personal and corporate prayer and Bible study to help our faith grow.
  • We prioritise and honour the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.
  • Each and every activity is aimed at believers and unbelievers to encouraging faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
